Rocket Track Meter - Track Surface Analyzer (TRAC-TM1000)

The Track Meter is a simpleto use tool that when used correctly provides consistently accurate measurements of the race track’s surface. By standingon the Track Meter’s machined aluminium foot tabs an internal spring applies a determined amount of pressure to the Track Meter’s bottom rubber pad. This rubber pad has a durometer hardness similar to most drag racing tyres. The user then turns theTrack Meter’s included torque wrench attachment to a specified number of degrees. The tattletale marker on the Track Meter’s torque wrench will then indicate the level of torque measured at that particular spot on the race track surface. It’s recommended to measure severalkey spots along the tracks surface. Following the procedure explained in the Track Meter’s included instructions will ensure reliable data measurement, time after time.

The Track Meter includes simple touse Data Tracking software to store your measurements, charttraction and to aid in track surface analytics. You’ll beable to store traction measurements at key points of the race track’s surface, along with current air temperature, time of day and lane side. These measurements data points can be collected and stored for multiple runs during qualifying and elimination rounds. This easy Data Tracking software allows you to build a library of datafor multiple race tracks over multiple runs for years of comparison data to aid in car set-up and tune. No more guessing.

Each Track Meter housing and select components are CNC precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum for strength and maximum weight reduction. The outer housing is black anodized for durability – tostand up to the harsh conditions and abuse that can be seen at the race track. Plus the two-tone finish looksreally cool! The Track Meter is proudly made in the USA. Our manufacturing facility outside of Chicago, IL CNC machines and assembles each Track Meter by hand to ensure a quality product that will provide accurate and reliable data.
